Program details

This is a free goal-based fishing program for kids under the age of 16. Kids fish, learn and earn free prizes. Each SC Reel Kids recieves a subscription to the SC Reel Kids newsletter and learns that fishing and being outdoors are great ways to have fun. Whether fishing in a pond, lake, stream, river, or ocean, a SC Reel Kids participant is probably going to see wildlife!

A SC Reel Kid will do more than just go fishing! They will work toward goals like catching their first fish, learning about fish, and improving the habitats around them.

They receive a reward for each goal completed and awards are sent out twice a year.
