CDOW Small Game Walk-In Access Program

Colorado's Small Game Walk-In Access (WIA) Program is based on a simple concept – allow landowners an easy and beneficial opportunity to allow public hunting access, while offering the hunters convenient access to thousands of acres of privately owned land. Since Program inception, hundreds of landowners have offered land for enrollment and hunters have been given access to excellent hunting opportunities across the state.

More Places to Hunt

More Places to Hunt is an NWTF program designed to help provide more hunting opportunities on public and private property. The NWTF already has spent $9.4 million and helped obtain more than 413,000 acres of land for hunters since 1987. This program builds upon our chapter’s success, and allows the NWTF to coordinate with partners to accomplish even more.
