Hunting Heritage Program

The Hunting Heritage Program of the North Carolina Wildlife Resources Commission is based on the premise that it takes a hunter to make a hunter and that the recruitment and retention of hunters is critical to long-term conservation and management of North Carolina's wildlife resources.

New Hunter Starter Kit

Twice a month, a New Hunter Starter Kit is mailed out to each newly graduated hunter education student, regardless of age. QDMA Mentored Hunting Program

QDMA's Mentored Hunting Program is an innovative hunter education and recruitment program designed to increase the number of youth and first-time hunters by matching mentors with interested students. It teaches students (youths and adults) the importance of hunting and provides them with a greater understanding of the role of hunting in sustainable wildlife management. Green Mountain Conservation Camps

Campers have a unique opportunity to meet Vermont State Game Wardens, foresters, fisheries and wildlife biologists, and others who work in the outdoors. We offer hands-on learning experiences on fish, wildlife, ecology, forestry, first aid and outdoor safety topics and so much more. There are opportunities for hiking, canoeing, fishing, archery, building bluebird boxes and other fun activities.
